We focus on :

As a true market leader, we boast an impressive client base across the commercial and public sectors, delivering lasting results in areas including Central Government, Transport, Energy and the Defence sectors.

On the back of continuing growth, we're once again investing in our team and boosting our numbers - which means you'll be joining one of the fastest growing areas of the firm at a time of real significance.

The work is varied and complex - just how we like it. And no one else does it quite like we do.

With the government's legally binding commitment to Net Zero, planning requirements for biodiversity net gain and the need for resilience and adaptation to our changing climate, sustainable infrastructure has never been more important.

What will you be doing?

This role sits in MPA's Technology and Sustainability in Infrastructure (TSI)

cluster. Our aim is to combine deep sector expertise with a powerful set of ESG solutions and passion for making a difference, to help infrastructure clients to prepare for an uncertain future and play their part in achieving local and global climate, environmental and social goals.

We work with a range of public- and private-sector infrastructure clients, supporting them to understand their sustainability-related risks and opportunities, and developing strategic and operational responses.

The things we do are wide-ranging and require plenty of entrepreneurial ability and intellectual curiosity; a desire to truly understand what makes a client's organisation tick! The role will require a skilled individual that is adaptable and has experience in collaborating with a multi-disciplinary technical team.

Expertise in sustainability in the built environment and, project management will be required, and an ability to translate highly technical information to a broad audience in non-technical terms.

Experience in real estate, construction, infrastructure, and organisational transformation is an advantage.

Managers in our team are right at the forefront of delivery, and this role requires a breadth of experience - ideally gained from the built environment experience and / or Infrastructure-related Projects and Programmes, but we'll happily consider candidates with experience in other relevant fields.

A preference will be given to candidates with a strong aptitude for problem solving, technical background and / or previous industry experience in the built environment, real estate, investment and sustainability.

You will work within a highly collaborative, high performing team with a commitment to creating a supportive work environment.

The team is well blended containing a vast range of skillsets and personalities - introverts as well as extraverts are equally welcome.

Specifically, your day-to-day involves :

Being part of a high-performing, multi-disciplinary consulting team. This role requires a significant amount of interaction with highly technical teams.

A post-graduate education in project management, sustainability in the built environment or equivalent technical field would be highly beneficial.

- Supporting in the delivery of client-facing work within specialist areas, ensuring new processes and tools are designed with a strong human / end user focus - this includes producing high-quality outputs with serious attention to detail.
- Working closely with our clients to truly understand their world and problems to ensure that the service we provide continually adds value.
- Looking after financial aspects of an engagement - ensuring we keep clients informed of costs and time incurred, in addition to raising invoices and recovering fees.
- Creating high- and low-level integrated plans across multi-discipline workstreams
- Business development - identifying potential opportunities for new assignments and assisting with bids.
- Previous experience or skills in infrastructure, real estate, sustainability in investment,

maturity assessments, as well as knowledge of sustainability strategies.

What will you need to do it?

There is no one-size fits all in MPA; our clients demand a lot from us, which requires a well-blended team to work collaboratively and to bring their true self to work.

Candidates from all walks of life are celebrated both for their individuality and also their contribution to the team. Every member of our team has a valid opinion, regardless of grade.

We will encourage, support and empower you to voice your opinion.

For this opportunity, we're looking for candidates with a strong consulting background of between five- and seven-years' experience - primarily built around the delivery of major Projects / Programmes.

Your track record should evidence :

- Experience working within a consulting or corporate environment - infrastructure, investment or technical consultancy with regards to developing or delivering sustainability strategies or technical support
- Ability to deliver impactful presentations; translating complex themes in to easy to digest formats
- In-depth experience of applying Project, Programme and / or Portfolio management - and a passion for improving the sustainability of the built environment.
- A foundation of excellent academics and good career progression to date
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- An ability to build and maintain great relationships and a desire to network across our firm
- A good spread of experience using different software / applications (, PowerPoint, Excel)

Experience in one of the following areas would also help you stand out - but it's not essential :

- Delivery of advisory services in infrastructure and the built environment
- Working in partnership with clients to shape strategic direction and helping them to go out and implement
- Enhancing governance and decision-making processes
