The Position
As a Spanish Teacher,
you will play an integral role in providing engaging and comprehensive language instruction to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
You will create a vibrant learning environment that fosters linguistic proficiency, cultural awareness, and an appreciation for the richness and diversity of the Spanish-speaking world.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and deliver stimulating lesson plans that align with the national curriculum and cater to diverse learning styles.
- Assess student progress through a variety of formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to facilitate language acquisition.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages participation and celebrates student achievement.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the Modern Foreign Languages department to enhance the overall language program and contribute to extracurricular activities.
Qualifications and Experience :
- Bachelor's degree in Spanish or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Spanish at the secondary level.
- Near-native fluency in Spanish.
- A strong understanding of language pedagogy and current teaching methodologies.
