This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary (MPS / UPS Salary Scale : M1 to UPS3) and a comprehensive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities :
- Deliver engaging and inspiring Science lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially 5.
- Design and implement innovative lesson plans aligned with the national curriculum and school's educational objectives.
- Assess student progress through regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to promote individual growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the Science department and wider school community to enhance teaching practices.
- Remain up-to-date with the latest advancements in Science pedagogy and curriculum developments.
Qualifications and Experience :
- Bachelor's degree in Science or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
- Demonstrable experience teaching Science to secondary school students (KS3 / 4) is highly desirable.
- A passion for Science and a commitment to fostering student curiosity and understanding.
