As a Bank Reconciliation Analyst on a 12-month fixed-term contract (FTC), you will ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial records by detecting errors, unusual or irregular payments, and ensuring up-to-date and accurate bank balances.

You will play a crucial role in minimizing risk and maximizing efficiency by adhering to adequate controls and procedures,





overseeing and expanding automation, and managing exceptions to resolution.

Key Responsibilities :

- Perform daily reconciliation of assigned company bank accounts and inter-account fund movements.
- Add full commentary for unmatched items and collaborate with Finance colleagues to resolve outstanding items promptly.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in the reconciliation process.
- Maintain and improve rule sets for automated reconciliations within the reconciliation tool.
- Prepare manual reconciliations for bank accounts not incorporated within the reconciliation system and investigate differences.
- Reconcile suspense accounts and work with global payments to resolve outstanding items.
- Monitor Treasury / Client segregated bookings and resolve discrepancies with Business Operations and Client Asset Management.
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.






- Maintain up-to-date process documentation and ensure all procedures and related policies are clearly defined and followed.
- Identify and escalate any risks associated with reconciliation to the appropriate team(s).
- Assist in producing management information and KPI reports.

Qualifications and Experience :

- Proven experience in bank reconciliations, ideally with client accounting and client money rules.
- Formal qualification : AAT or equivalent is an advantage.
- Experience using bank reconciliation systems / software.
- Knowledge of MRI Horizon and Blackline is useful but not essential.
- High level of attention to detail and ability to prioritize workload.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Intermediate / advanced Excel knowledge.






- Knowledge of commercial property service charge processes is useful but not essential.
- Minimum GCSE Level education including Maths and English.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to organize and prioritize conflicting demands.
- Highly numerate, proficient with Excel, and possessing good analytical skills.
- Flexible approach to work with a willingness to play a full role in ensuring the success of the team.
- Ability to demonstrate a customer-focused approach to service delivery.
- Passion for continuously raising the bar on quality and effectiveness.
