Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons that cater to the needs of students at various academic levels.
- Create engaging and creative teaching materials to effectively convey mathematical concepts.
- Implement effective assessment strategies to monitor the progress and development of students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the overall improvement of teaching methodologies and student outcomes.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters students' confidence and motivation in learning Maths.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on their academic performance and progress.
- Communicate with parents / guardians to discuss the progress and well-being of students.
Requirements
- Qualified Maths teacher with appropriate teaching qualifications and certifications.
- Proven experience in delivering Maths lessons to students in the primary / secondary education sector.
- Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the Maths curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Ability to differentiate instruction and adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Effective classroom management skills to maintain a positive learning environment.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with the latest teaching strategies and pedagogies.
