Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive English lessons to students
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic growth and personal development
- Assess and evaluate student performance, providing feedback to students and parents as necessary
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement effective teaching strategies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and achievements
- Support students in their personal and academic growth, providing guidance and mentorship where needed
- Foster a love for reading and a deep appreciation for English language and literature
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in English or related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
- Proven experience teaching English to students in a primary or secondary school setting
- Excellent knowledge of the English curriculum and teaching strategies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
