Step Teachers are working with a Secondary school in Hackney that is looking for a Religious Education Teacher ASAP. The Religious Education Teacher role is full-time teaching KS3 and 4 and will likely lead to a permanent position.

You will need to have previous experience of teaching Religious Studies at secondary school in the UK and have QTS status.

Religious Education Teacher Role :

- Demonstrate strong knowledge of the Religious Education curriculum.
- Maintain an organised and professional classroom environment with all the associated resources.






- Collaborate effectively with other members of staff, both within the department and throughout the school.
- Assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback to help them to progress.
- A Religious Education Teacher should ensure compliance with the school’s policies and implement them reliably.
- As a Religious Education Teacher you must plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons.

Religious Education Teacher Requirements :

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A genuine passion for education and a commitment to helping students achieve their best.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with young learners.
- A desire to contribute to the vibrant school community and engage in extracurricular activities.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Religious Education at secondary level.
