Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and interactive English lessons to students
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and growth
- Assess and evaluate student progress through varied methods such as assignments, exams, and class presentations
- Develop and implement individualized learning plans to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Collaborate with other faculty members to develop and enhance the English curriculum
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their academic development
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative and supportive educational environment
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in English or a related field
- Teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS) or equivalent
- Proven experience teaching English at the primary or secondary level
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of the English curriculum and literature
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively differentiate instruction to cater to students' individual needs
- Passion for education and a commitment to nurturing the intellectual and emotional growth of students
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude with a drive for continuous improvement
