We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical / Forensic or Counselling Psychologist to join our integrated Mental Healthcare team across our West Yorkshire Cluster which consists of HMP Leeds, HMP Newhall, HMP Wakefield, HMP Askham Grange and HMP Wealstun.
This role would suit an experience Psychologist familiar with working with adult mental health presentations including neurodiversity and complex trauma.
The applicant must be familiar with trauma informed practice and trained in at least one trauma specific intervention.
The applicant will be part of the Integrated Mental Health Team and will be an integral part of the clinical leadership team supporting the development of the psychological therapies service.
Hours
Monday-Friday 9am-5 pm
At least 2 of the days will be based at HMP Leeds
Salary
This position is a full time position offering up to £70,000 per annum - depending on experience.

Main duties of the job
As a qualified, HCPC registered Psychologist, your responsibilities will vary. You will
- Offer clinical support and oversight to the Integrated Mental Health Team (IMHT) in the form of training
- Undertake psychological assessments and support complex multi-disciplinary formulations
- Deliver and oversee the delivery of 1 : 1 psychological interventions and group intervention as part of the Trauma Informed 'Making Sense' Programme
- Deliver teaching and training to healthcare and prison staff where required
- Contribute to the development of audit, service evaluation and research profile as appropriate

Qualifications required
- Registered with professional body such as HCPC / BPS
- Completion of a British Psychological Society accredited Doctoral Level postgraduate professional training course
- Experience in a leadership capacity for a minimum of 3 years post qualification
- Experience of highly specialist psychological assessment and individual and group based treatment
- Relevant post-qualification experience, and formal training in supervision
