Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons to students in accordance with the curriculum guidelines.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources to enhance student learning.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
- Establish a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student participation and collaboration.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities.
- Attend staff meetings and parent-teacher conferences as required.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Geography or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
in the UK or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching Geography at the primary or secondary level.
- Excellent knowledge of the Geography curriculum and assessment methods.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of a diverse student population.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
