Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and informative History lessons to students according to the school's curriculum guidelines
- Create lesson plans and instructional materials that cater to different learning styles and abilities
- Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students, parents, and school administration
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop interdisciplinary projects and initiatives
- Participate in faculty and department meetings,
as well as professional development opportunities
- Stay up-to-date with educational trends and best practices in History instruction
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in History or related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
- Proven experience teaching History at the primary or secondary level
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for History and the ability to inspire and engage students
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
