Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality physical education lessons to students.
- Develop and implement engaging and challenging programs that cater to the needs of students of varying abilities.
- Enhance student learning through the use of a wide range of teaching strategies, resources, and technology.
- Assess and provide constructive feedback to students to support their progress and development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver cross-curricular projects and events.
- Lead extracurricular activities and sports clubs, promoting student participation and achievement.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to build confidence and develop teamwork skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching physical education at the primary or secondary level.
- Sound knowledge of the national curriculum requirements for physical education.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students to reach their full potential.
- Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to the wider school community.
