THE TEAM

This role sits within the Marketing and Business Development team, whose focus in on helping our expert Partners and other lawyers to win business and deliver an excellent client service.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN THIS ROLE

The following list is not exhaustive but gives a flavour of the duties :

Responsible for the management of live webinars, including setting up webinars, running rehearsals, approval of event registrants, running polls and surveys during events,





helping presenters with running slide shows during events, feeding questions from the audience through to event speakers, and circulation of registration and attendee reports to internal team.

You will not be required to be on screen during live events, but you will need to provide behind-the-scenes support to event organisers, hosts and presenters.

- Post-event data management for online and in person events, in accordance with GDPR. That will include, for example, bulk uploading attendee data from our webinar or seminar systems into the firm's contact database.
- Collation of post-event feedback; including evaluation and analysis of what worked well and what didn't, both for webinars and other events.
- Responsible for the day-to-day administration of the events team inbox and maintaining and updating the firm's internal and external events calendar
- Liaising with the firm's PAs, Business Development professionals and external suppliers to run physical events, possibly including sourcing venues, handing out badges,





ensuring event content is provided to Audio Visual specialists and other tasks as required.
- Highlighting to the firm's Management team if we have scheduling conflicts with our events, or if we are running too many events in a short space of time.
- Keeping internal clients informed of progress in terms of event planning and delivery
- Promote best practice for events both online and in person
- Escalate complex event requests or technical problems to the firm's Event's Coordinator or Events Manager
- Creating and sending invitations via our e-marketing platform
- Support marketing campaigns as required.

YOUR AREAS OF KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE

You will receive technical skills training on all aspects of Addleshaw Goddard's events technologies and processes. However,





we would expect successful candidates to have the following skills, experience, competencies and approach :

- Must have a minimum of one to two years' experience working in events
- Must be highly organised, approachable, have a very high attention to detail and be highly organised.
- Must have the ability to communicate with internal clients and colleagues in a calm, professional and friendly manner.
- Highly computer literate with a proven ability to pick up and use new systems or software, ideally including experience of Microsoft Office software.
- Previous experience of having used webinar technology or email marketing platforms would be advantageous, as would a basic working knowledge of social media and websites.






- Any past experience in supporting or running events would put you in a very strong position in this role, although at the very least you will have a strong interest in the world of events.

- Ability to gain trust and build relationships quickly
- A real "can do" attitude and an ability to find solutions
- Able to interact professionally and credibly with senior internal stakeholders
- An ability to manage conflicting requests or concurrent multiple projects, and cope with a steady stream of work
