About the Role
We are seeking a passionate Head of Drama to join our vibrant school community. As the Head of Drama, you will be responsible for developing and implementing an engaging Drama curriculum that stimulates students' creativity and passion for the performing arts.
You will lead a talented team, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning, and contribute to the overall development of the school's arts culture.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage the Drama department, promoting excellence in teaching and learning.
- Develop and deliver a comprehensive Drama curriculum that meets the needs of all students.
- Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential in Drama.
- Organize and oversee school productions, workshops, and extracurricular activities.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing effective feedback and support.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall arts program in the school.
- Stay updated with current educational trends and best practices in Drama education.

About You :
- A qualified teacher (QTS) with a degree in Drama or a related field.
- Proven experience in teaching Drama, with a track record of achieving excellent results.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- A passion for Drama and the performing arts.
- The ability to inspire and motivate students and staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
