Position Overview :
Partnering closely with the Director of International Analytics, the Regional Marketing teams, and Go-To-Market teams, you will lead compelling, data-driven storytelling, focusing on driving overall category growth by leveraging syndicated data, shopper and consumer insights, category, and industry trends.
As the Category Analytics & Insights Senior Manager, you will play an integral role in helping the Company achieve objectives by becoming an indispensable strategic business partner for our Category segments in the marketing organizations, building strong sustainable business relationships at all levels and functions of the organization, customers, and customer teams,
and linking business objectives with winning growth strategies.
This role is responsible for a broad regional scope, including EMEA and APAC.
Key Accountabilities include :
Operating as the category SME support for Brand Management, providing data-driven insights for assigned brands, enabling the development of category growth plans.
Working closely with the Brand, Marketing and Commercial teams, using syndicated, Consumer Insight and other data to drive strategic development by identifying and disseminating category trends and opportunities.
Developing analytic & insight capabilities to support regional marketing activities for assigned brands, including (but not limited to) pricing opportunities, promotional ROI, and marketing spend optimization.
Leading a small, highly-skilled team of category analytic experts.
Key Skills, Qualifications & Experience :
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (emphasis in Business / Statistics or related field).
Proven experience within FMCG in Category Management, Sales Analytics, Finance,
or related position.
Background in direct and hands-on retail / FMCG specific experience preferred.
Advanced analytical skills and computer software proficiency (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, etc.)
Expert with syndicated data measures and software (e.g., Circana, Nielsen, GFK)
