Deputy Nurse Manager
Hourly Rate : £20-£22
40 hours per week
Are you an experienced Deputy Nurse Manager with a deep commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality care? Our client is currently looking for an experienced Deputy Nurse Manager to help lead and drive their team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong leadership and clinical skills to make a meaningful impact on both staff and residents.
You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the home, collaborating closely with the Home Manager to deliver exceptional standards of care.
Skills & Qualifications :
- Nursing qualification (RGN / RMN), with a valid and clear UK NMC Pin.
- Proven experience within nursing homes, with prior management or leadership experience
- Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- In-depth knowledge of senior care practices, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with residents, families, and staff.

Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee the day-to-day operations within the care home, ensuring smooth running of all clinical services.
- Supervise and support nursing and care staff, ensuring adherence to care plans, guidelines, and best practices.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans for residents, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care.
- Work closely with the Home Manager to maintain and improve the quality of care delivery.
- Provide guidance, mentoring, and support to the nursing and care team, ensuring they have the necessary skills, training, and motivation to excel in their roles.
- Manage staff rotas, assist with recruitment, and support the onboarding process of new team members.
- Ensure compliance with relevant care regulations and maintain a safe, welcoming environment for residents.
