Job overview

To provide clinical leadership and support to colleagues to ensure patient care of the highest standards are maintained across the Trust 24 hrs a day, assist staff with resolving clinical concerns and respond to emergency situations.

Work closely with the Senior Clinical Site Managers to manage patient flow / pathways.

Main duties of the job

To assist in the management of the site, patient flow and coordination of clinical activities working closely with clinical and managerial colleagues.

The post holder will work closely with Senior Clinical Site Manager to ensure timely and appropriate escalation of issues and implement actions to promote accurate patient pathways.







The post holder will liaise closely with all members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure efficient and effective multidirectional communication, in order to deliver a high quality service to the patient and their relatives.

The post holder will contribute to the management of the site, and will be designated to deputise for the Senior Clinical Site Manager in their absence.

They will have the opportunity to develop their organisational and clinical skills further in this post. They will be expected to contribute to the professional development of junior staff within the site, and enhance their skills as a role model.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

Once your pre-employment checks have been completed you will be contacted by Recruitment to arrange your start date which will be in line with one of our Corporate Inductions.

Following your Corporate Induction you will be expected to attend the Trust’s 2-week Induction Programme for RNs, NAs, RMs, ODPs and Paramedics.

The programme is full-time (please email if this is problematic) and will involve travel to both Trust sites. The programme includes supernumerary shifts in the clinical area, classroom-based sessions and e-learning.

Please note that appointment to this post will be subject to a satisfactory Disclosure & Barring Service Check at Enhanced Level.

Qualifications

Essential criteria

- Completed and obtained RN and has current live PIN on NMC register
- Evidence of post-registration education in accordance with PREP requirements to degree level or equivalent.
- Previous experience working in Clinical site management
- Mentorship

Experience / Knowledge

- Significant post registration experience, with experience at Band 6 level or equivalent






- Evidence of developed interpersonal skills
- Demonstrates skills in management and leadership
