Superior Healthcare is urgently recruiting experienced Health Care Assistants and Support Workers to join a dedicated team supporting a client with complex care needs in their family home in Horley .

As a Care Assistant, you will join our complex care team and work long-term with one or a small number of clients. Plus, benefit from a fixed rota and the option of overtime.

Superior Healthcare will provide full, paid classroom-based training when you join us, paid induction shifts, and ongoing supervision support from our in-house team of nurses and supervisors.







If a client’s needs mean that you require extra skills (for example, if they need assistance to meet their nutritional requirements), we will provide paid, specialist training to ensure that you can confidently support their needs and develop your skills.

Role Overview :

As a Complex Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our client’s daily life, providing essential support including :

- Administering medication
- Supporting with PEG feeds
- Performing oral suctioning
- Providing personal care
- Assisting with moving and handling

Shift Patterns Available :

Additional shifts are available in the local area for those with flexible availability and a willingness to travel.

- Waking nights 19 : 30-07 : 30 £14.64 per hour
- Twilights 16 : 00 22 : 00 £13.31 per hour

Responsibilities

- To closely observe and monitor the client for any clinical intervention required.
- To be fun, friendly and engaging with the client around their interests and hobbies.
- To be an advocate for the client, working in their best interest and in accordance with Superior Healthcare's policies and procedures.
- To show the client dignity and respect at all times.
- To regularly refer to and follow care plans written by the Nurse Manager to ensure exceptional person-centred care is provided.

Requirements

- Minimum of 6 months of professional care experience in a UK healthcare setting.
- Experience supporting complex care clients.






- Experience providing PEG care and non-invasive ventilation.
- Confident in working with children and making shifts engaging.
- Full UK driving license with access to your own vehicle.
