Cloud Infrastructure Engineer – Bristol

Reports to: Platforms Manager

Salary: £60-70k

A professional services company, based in Bristol, are looking for a talented Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join their IT team and contribute significantly to their cloud infrastructure projects.

In this role, you’ll be instrumental in delivering high-performance cloud solutions that align with their cloud-first strategy. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with cutting-edge cloud technologies while driving automation and optimization across our public cloud offerings.

Skills & Experience:

- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, Azure networking (VNETs, VPNs, Express Route)
- Expertise in Azure Compute, Storage,





and DevOps tools (Terraform, Azure DevOps)
- Familiarity with cloud security, automation, and optimization tools

Key Responsibilities:

- Build, deploy, and maintain cloud solutions using infrastructure as code (Bicep, pipelines).
- Lead cloud implementations and serve as a technical project lead for software-defined services.
- Participate in defining and refining our cloud architecture, standards, and future state roadmaps.
- Develop and enhance cloud automation tools, ensuring cost management, optimization, and security hardening.
- Identify and resolve business-critical issues and ensure high system performance and availability.
- Collaborate with our network, security, and CISO teams to ensure our security posture remains compliant.
- Occasionally work outside normal office hours to meet project deadlines.
