Estate Surveyor - 12 Month FTC

About the team:
GBIS Corporate Real Estate UK & EMEA is responsible for provide Estate Management and Strategy across the SG Investment Bank Portfolio.
To provide both GBIS and non GBIS entities with commercial, technical, strategy and transaction advice at Senior management level to ensure business lines can make the best real estate decisions for their business and the Group.
Summary of Key Purposes of the Role:

Proactive management of SG’s CRE Estate Management and Strategy requirements.
- Responsibility for delivery assigned projects on time and within budget
- Proactive management of SG’s Real Estate needs - driven by business, strategy, leading to implementation of required change/projects in collaboration with FAC (Facilities Team), Workplace and IT, etc
Responsibilities:
-
Supporting the Head of Estate Management, to cover both the UK,
EMEA & Globally
- To gain working knowledge of all Estate Management Projects in the UK
- Provide support to wider CRE Team and provide project updates to senior stakeholders.
- To manage day to day Lease diary events and related strategies in UK & EMEA
- Managing UK Landlord/ Tenant/ Local Govt relationships including audit of Landlord Service Charges
- Providing technical real estate support to UK FM & Workplace teams as required
- To take responsibility for delivery in UK and EMEA outsourced Transaction Management projects (Negotiation /Occupation Strategy /Acquisitions / Asset Sales/ Rent Reviews/ Lease Negotiations / Sub-letting / Dilapidations /Real Estate Legal)
- Manage outsourced providers and consultants such as Surveyors, Brokers,
Project Managers and Lawyers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
Profile required
- Must be a member of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) or equivalent
- Minimum of 2/3 years post qualification experience within an Advisory or Corporate environment
Experience or working knowledge of
- Portfolio Strategy and Optimisation in ever changing working environment.
- Project outsourcing and delivery
- High level understanding of UK Real Estate Law
- Financial appraisals
- Real Estate databases
