Job Title: Qualified Social Worker - Children in Care / Children Looked After Team
Location: Liverpool City Council
Pay Rate: £42 per hour

Cameron McKenzie at Randstad is recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join Liverpool City Council's Children in Care / Children Looked After Team. This is a full-time position with a competitive pay rate of £42 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complex Children in Care (CIC) and Children Looked After (CLA) cases.
- Develop and implement comprehensive care plans for children.
- Undertake Section 20 and Section 31 care proceedings.
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies to ensure the well-being and safety of children.
- Conduct regular reviews to monitor the progress of children in care.
- Ensure permanency planning and promote positive outcomes for children.
- Participate in Looked After Child reviews and liaise with Independent Reviewing Officers (IROs).
Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker with a Social Work Degree and registration with Social Work England.
- Enhanced DBS check required.
Experience:
- Strong experience working within Children in Care (CIC) or Children Looked After (CLA) teams.
