The People & Culture Team are looking for a highly motivated Band 5 People Officer to join our busy but supportive team.

As a member of our team, you will provide high quality advice on all People issues in specified areas, working with the Assistant People Partner,
to ensure there is the best people management practice including workforce management, development and employee relations in all designated areas.
You will ensure that the People team are a key member of the divisional management team; giving high quality advice on workforce matters and providing appropriate challenge to influence decisions and improvements to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the Division. You will also be involved in coaching managers to improve their leadership and people management skills.
You will be involved in the delivery of our management essentials training programme; ensuring that relevant policies and procedures are understood and applied consistently across the Trust. You will lead on the delivery of HR Clinics across your division and will also undertake research to support policy development.
The core purpose of the role is:-
- Provide advice and support across a range of HR services and carry own caseload of sickness absence and less complex ER cases.
- Participate on the People Team advice line and contribute to the on-going development of the 'Ask Ava' chatbot which provides colleagues with easy access to responses to a range of HR questions.
- Provide project support for specific programmes of work related to the People Strategy and workforce transformation and sustainability programmes.
