A well established care company that provides support to young people across the West Midlands have vacancies for Senior Support Workers to work in their residential care homes based in the West Midlands. They have the following locations: Cannock, Lichfield, Burton Upon Trent, Wednesbury, Wolverhampton, West Bromwich an Birmingham.
Senior Residential Support Worker
* Salary: £26,000 - £28,000, with the potential to earn up to £32,000+ including bonuses.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Providing direct care and support to children, ensuring their safety and well-being.
* Assisting in home management tasks such as shift management and staff supervision.
* Engaging with external stakeholders and participating in planning activities for children.
* Ensuring the home operates effectively and meets all regulatory standards.
* Specific Qualifications and Experience:
* Experience in a supportive role within a residential care setting, specifically with children who have Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties.
* Required: NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care or Children and Young People’s Workforce.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this role.
