Awareness of film industry and contacts to support the development of Devon as a centre for filmmaking and film skills to attract high-end productions while promoting grassroots filmmaking and promoting and supporting the sector, regionally, nationally and internationally
Knowledge of funding routes and practices to support the work of Screen Devon
Experience of the film industry, film finance and managing budgets.
Fundraising experience
Excellent written, interpersonal, organisation and communication skills, and ability to work in an efficient, confident and tactful way
Good working knowledge of film rights, copyright and permissions
Understanding of local authorities and how they work
Commitment to diversity and inclusion
A commitment to supporting talent in our region.
Includes some weekends and unsociable hours, so flexibility is needed with some core officer hours
