Purpose of Role

London & Partners is seeking a talented and strategic individual to join our team as Community Engagement Manager. This role will be instrumental in nurturing strategic relationships with key talent and skills organisations across London,





while also developing compelling content and events to engage our clients and the broader talent community.

Key Tasks

Build and maintain a network of the leading talent and skills organisations in London : proactively identify and cultivate relationships with London’s leading recruiters, universities, training providers, corporates, social impact initiatives and more.

Manage a directory of key contacts and how to engage with them.

Deepen relationships with existing partners and identify new opportunities : Create an engagement plan for key partners, including regular communication, joint initiatives, and knowledge sharing.

Identify potential partnerships with priority organisations to expand the network's reach and impact.

Represent the team as a key external representative : Position the team as a trusted advisor and thought leader within the talent ecosystem.

Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build the team's profile and create new relationships.

Serve as a liaison between client advisors and the talent network :





Provide guidance and support to advisors on how to effectively engage with network organisations to meet our client needs.

Facilitate knowledge sharing and efficient best practice within the team.

Advocate for atypical talent : continuously challenge traditional recruitment practices and champion the value of diverse backgrounds, experiences, and skillsets.

Create opportunities for people from all backgrounds to find their dream job.

Develop and execute a content strategy aligned with the team's goals and our client’s needs : Conduct audience research to identify key talent and hiring topics and formats that resonate with both clients and other organisations.

Create a content calendar and editorial plan to ensure a consistent flow of valuable opportunities.

Create high-quality content, including guides, deep dives,





and thought leadership pieces : Collaborate with internal and external experts to produce engaging and informative content.

Leverage data and insights to inform content development.

- Plan and deliver engaging events (intimate roundtables, as well as larger networking sessions) for both clients and the talent network : Manage event logistics, including venue selection, speaker recruitment, and attendee management.
- Measure the impact of content and events on audience engagement and business outcomes : Track key metrics such as event attendance and feedback.

Analyse data to identify trends and continuously optimise content and event strategies.

- A passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion , excited to unlock the potential of underrepresented groups in London, with a genuine interest in the talent and skills sector.
- Data driven .





Proficient in digital tools and platforms for research, communication, and project management. Keen to continuously improve and become more efficient through the use of innovative tools such as AI.
- A team player who works collaboratively, excited to be part of an organisation focussed on social impact and work with colleagues to make a real difference.

The Ideal Candidate Will Demonstrate :

- Experience of building and managing strong working relationships with external stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to create high-quality content , including written materials, presentations, and event materials.
- Experience of event organisation with businesspeople and other stakeholders would be an advantage.






- Strong organisational and project management skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines is a must.
- Market awareness : real world understanding of the issues facing business owners, particularly but not exclusively around talent and skills.
- An understanding of the talent market landscape, or the ability to quickly learn and adapt to industry trends. Knowledge of the high-growth technology sector, and in particular the challenges facing start-ups and scaleups
- Ability to work independently to achieve targets as well as collaboratively with other members of the team
- Experience in cross-organisation working to achieve challenging goals
- Resilience and willingness to adapt positively to feedback
- Knowledge of Salesforce would be a bonus. Creative use of productivity tools to continuously improve the impact of their work






- Knowledge of the barriers and issues facing candidates from underrepresented or disadvantaged backgrounds.
