Job description
An exciting job role has recently become available at the London Borough of Newham. They are looking for a new member for their Learning Disabilities Team.
As part of our ILDT you’ll play a crucial role in developing effective care and support plans to ensure the welfare and promote the independence of Adults with a range of Learning Disabilities.

Requirements :
- UndertakeCare Act 2014 Assessments : Focus on the person’s well-being, adopting a person-centered,
strengths-based approach.
- Promote Independence : Empower individuals by promoting choice, control, and independence through reablement approaches.
- Collaborate with Professionals : Work in partnership with other professionals, source provisions, and safeguard vulnerable adults.
What we are looking for in a Social Worker :
- Social Work England registration
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Hold a full UK licence
- Post-qualified experience
- Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
