About The Role
We have a new vacancy for an Assistant Management Accountant to join our centralised Finance team at TFG Brands. As a key member of our international finance function you will wear several hats supporting the Financial Reporting Manager with month end reporting, compliance statutory reporting and wider financial control.
Your duties responsibilities as Assistant Management Accountant will include :
- Month End close : Responsible for posting P&L; and Balance sheet journals as part of the month end process
- Staff costs : monthly postings of wages, salaries and bonus accrual, reconciliation of wages and salaries from payroll system to amounts paid and ensuring wages,
PAYE and NI are paid to local employees / governments
- Reporting : Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow preparation on monthly basis
- Property : Liaising with Accounts Payable Team to insure that rent is paid on time, Liaising with local landlords, internal legal department, as and when needed
- Accruals : reviewing monthly fees to ensure invoices not received are accrued
- Prepayments : maintaining and reconciling prepayments schedule for group of entities
- Key contact during yearly statutory audits
- Responsible for preparing all necessary information for local auditors in timely manner. Liaising with UK auditors during yearly audits
About You
To be successful in the role of Assistant Management Accountant you will be a part qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA) proficient with Excel (Sums, Pivot tables, VLOOKUPS etc) and have a experience working in a busy finance team.
