Deputy Manager
Support the Registered Manager to ensure the home runs smoothly on a day to day basis. In the absence of the Registered Manager, to be responsible for the running of the home.
Location : Thanet
Salary : £28,000 - £36,500 depending on experience

- Be a positive role model for colleagues, children and young people.
- Work in other homes for support as this may be required from time to time.
- Carry out shift leading, being responsible for the planning of the shift, delegation of tasks and supervising and guiding colleagues.

We provide FREE training and are able to mentor new and inexperienced staff within our large staff group of experienced support workers, Managers and Senior Management team across all 5 of our Homes.
For an inexperienced, unqualified new staff member aged 25 or above, we would advice generally speaking our staff must be 25 years or above;
we do occasionally make exceptions depending upon the circumstances and situation of the applicant.
This includes 2 sleep-ins per week and enhanced sleep-in payments of £40 per night.
Our overtime rate is generous at Time and a quarter payment per hour above the basic.

Qualifications
- Level 3 in Children's care
- Strong communication skills
- Experience working with children
- Valid driver's license and experience driving
- Knowledge of childcare and care plans
- This role requires a commitment to undertake training as required for a full understanding of duties.
- Study towards the Diploma Level 5 qualification or other qualification as deemed necessary by the company or set by government legislation for individuals carrying out childcare
