What is the role about?
We are looking for an experienced Workday Data Analyst with PowerBI experience to help ensure our clients are utilizing the best possible Workday solution, specifically with experience in HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Recruitment, Absence and Time Tracking.
Please note this is a contractual role to start immediately.
As a Workday Data Analyst you will be responsible for leveraging the Workday system to manage, analyze, and report on HR data,
ensuring the organization optimizes the use of its HR systems.
This role involves extracting, analyzing, and interpreting employee data using PowerB I providing insights to HR, finance, and leadership teams to inform decision-making.
The Workday Data Analyst also works on system configurations, troubleshooting, and optimizing HR processes through data.
Responsibilities will include :
- Extract and analyze HR data from Workday, providing meaningful insights related to employee demographics, performance, compensation, and headcount.
- Develop and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and scorecards using Workday reporting tools.
- Support HR and leadership teams with ad-hoc reports and data requests to drive decision-making.
- Perform data audits and validations to ensure data integrity and accuracy within the Workday system
- Regularly clean and update data to ensure consistency across HR systems.
- Troubleshoot data discrepancies and work with HR teams to resolve issues.
What skills are we looking for?
Our roles are remotely based (even pre-Covid), meaning you will be working from your home office, connecting with your client and team on a daily basis.
To be successful in this type of environment, you will need to have the ability to communicate effectively (in English) with cross-functional teams, explain complex concepts in easy, understandable terms, align HR / business knowledge with Workday functionality, and proactively drive process improvements.
You will need to be comfortable with video calls and be proactive in keeping communication channels open with your client and team.
Skills and Experience Required :
- 2-5 years of experience in a similar HR data analysis role, ideally working with Workday.
- 3+ years of experience with Workday report writing (advanced reporting, matrix reporting, composite reporting, and calculated fields).
BIRT reporting a plus.
- Extensive experience using PowerBI
- Experience in HR data management, including headcount, turnover, and compensation analytics.
- Experience with HR systems configuration, data migration, and system optimization in a Workday environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
As this is a remote role ,
you can be based anywhere in Europe or the United Kingdom , so long as you are authorised to work in the country you reside in without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
