Job description

Qualified Social Worker Newcastle upon Tyne Children with Disabilities £222 Per day

Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting experienced Qualified Social Workers to join the busy team at a Newcastle upon Tyne based within the Children with Disabilities Team.

To work in this role, you must have a Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a qualification in Social Work at degree level, and have post-qualified experience.

Primary Responsibilities as a CWD Social Worker

- Having a mixed caseload of Child Protection,





Child in Need, and some Looked after Children with Children with Additional Needs
- Multi Agency working with Partner Agencies
- Putting in place and reviewing care packages
- Completing Children and Family Assessments
- Completing Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP)
- Working alongside SEND Coordinators and Special Educational Needs Schools
- Generic Safeguarding responsibilities including Risk Assessments and Single Assessments etc

What we are looking for in a Qualified Social Worker :

- Social Work England registration
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Hold a full UK license
- Post-qualified experience
- Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
