SEN Behaviour and Learning Support Assistant

Start date : Immediate start possible

Pay rate : £12.82 per hour

Hours : Full- time Monday-Friday 8 : 30-15 : 00 (term-time only)

Location : Bournemouth

GSL Education are seeking an SEN Behaviour and Learning Support Assistant to work in a local mainstream primary school situated in Bournemouth.

This role centres around supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), largely on a one-to-one basis, so that the pupils can access the learning and receive the tailored support and provision that they need.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing quality SEN provision, knowledge on a range of behaviour management strategies,





and the ability to adapt to the diverse needs of the pupils.

Having experience within a school setting would be beneficial, as well as having experience working with children or adults with SEN, including needs such as ASD, PMLD and ADHD.

The successful candidate will have the ability to support the class teacher to engage learners, meet individual needs, and communicate effectively with the pupils in the class.

The role is available for an immediate start, full-time, however the schools may also consider part-time applicants.
