Join Our Team as a Senior Night Care Assistant at Combe Lea, Midsomer Norton !
Location : Combe Lea, Midsomer Norton.
Salary : £25,979 to £27,809 per annum, pro rata (£13.47 to £14.41 per hr) plus 5% welcome payment*
Hours : 16.5 hrs per week - Part-time (rota system with night shifts, including weekends and bank holidays)
Are you passionate about providing exceptional care and support to older adults? Bath & North East Somerset Council is seeking a dedicated Senior Night Care Assistant to join our team at Combe Lea, a vibrant Community Resource Centre in Midsomer Norton.
About the Role :
As a Senior Night Care Assistant at Combe Lea,
you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality care and support to our residents.
Working in a supervisory position, you will assist the Registered Manager in maintaining exceptional care standards and supporting the development of our dedicated care team.
Key Responsibilities :
- Leadership : Manage shifts, supervise staff, and ensure rota cover over a 4-week period, including alternate weekends and bank holidays.
- Care Quality : Maintain high levels of care and support, conduct audits, and contribute to staff development.
- Compliance : Ensure adherence to CQC regulations and follow policies and procedures proactively.
- Team Collaboration : Work alongside a fantastic team of carers to create a supportive and empowering environment for our residents.
About You :
- Experience : Previous experience in a supervisory role within care is desirable, but a commitment to delivering quality care is essential.
- Background : We welcome applicants from various care backgrounds, including nursing, domiciliary care, learning disabilities, and healthcare.
- Skills :
Strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a compassionate approach to care.
