Director of Sport Job -Salary: Inner London MPS/UPS + TLR dependant on experience -Required: January 2025 -Contract/Duration: Permanent, Full-Time -Location: SE3 0XX, Blackheath, London Borough of Lewisham Do you have a real passion and desire to enthuse pupils with your own love of Sport and Physical Education? enthusiastic and ambitious Teacher of PE to join our all-through academy for pupils aged 4-16.

This role encompasses both the primary and secondary phase. Our Director of Sport will, together with the talent that already exists at SMA create and drive us as a centre of excellence. Developing new partnerships as well as maintaining current partnerships with

Old Colfeian’s Rugby Club and Greenwich Titans Basketball Club. Our Director of Sport will improve the profile of sport both in and outside of SMA. In October 2019, Ofsted confirmed SMA as a good school where all pupils, through their hard work and commitment, are able to ‘let their light shine’.

In Feb 2023, our CSI inspection stated ‘The behaviour of pupils is exemplary in lessons and around the school, and strong and positive relationships are evident throughout the school.’ We are proud that our pupils are able to learn in a disruption free environment resulting in strong progress for all.
