Senior Marketing Manager (Maternity Cover, 12 months FTC)

Reporting of the Role

This role reports to the Director, Brand Marketing.

Overview of job

This is an exciting opportunity to join Global’s dynamic, driven, and fast-paced Brand Marketing team, where you’ll be integral to building and growing some of the UK’s most iconic entertainment brands.

We’relooking for a Senior Marketing Manager to lead the charge on marketing strategy and campaigns for Capital , Capital XTRA , and Capital Dance as well as our digital stations Capital Chill & Capital Anthems .







You’llbe responsible for driving brand awareness and engagement across the Capital brand portfolio, leading high-impact campaigns that resonate with our growingaudiences.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, where no two days are the same. You’ll need to be resilient and adaptable, able to handle the pressures of managinghigh-profile campaigns with tight deadlines, all while ensuring our creative remains world-class.

Gained an excellent understanding of your brands, including tone of voice, positioning and strategy, and identified opportunities for growth.

Have developed and implemented campaigns that drive brand engagement.

Built strong working relationships with your team and key stakeholders across the business.

Responsibilities of the role

Lead Brand Marketing Strategy : Develop, implement, and manage the marketing strategies for Capital, Capital XTRA, Capital Dance, Capital Chill & Capital Anthems.

Brand guardianship & positioning : safeguard and evolve the brand positioning for your brands, maintaining consistency across all touchpoints to ensure we build equity, whilst also considering evolution when needed.

Campaign Management :





Lead the development of multi-channel marketing campaigns, from ideation through to execution& reporting.

Creative Production : Heavy involvement in the production of creative assets including outdoor, social & TV creative.

Media Planning : interrogate agency media plans to ensure cost efficiency & effectiveness.

Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with the Brand Design, Video, Programming, Commercial, Digital, Eventsand Comms teams to create unified campaigns that amplify the brand message across all channels.

Audience Growth : Drive audience growth by understanding listener behaviours and preferences, using data-driven insights to inform marketing strategies and campaigns.

Event Marketing : Lead marketing and branding for the brand’slive events,





including Capital’s Summertime Ball and Jingle Bell Ball, ensuring the brand is amplified across all event touchpoints.

Stakeholder Management : Foster highly effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including creative and media planning agencies.

Talent Management : Maintain professionalism whilst working with Global radio presenters, artists & artist management / teams.

Line Management : you’ll line manage and develop a Marketing Executive.

What you will need

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, organised, proactive and adaptable.

Brand Marketing Experience : Experience working as a brand marketing manager, ideally within the media or entertainment sector.

Creative Flair : A passion for creativity and innovation,





with an outstanding eye for detail and a track record of delivering high-impact campaigns that resonate with target audiences.

Data-Driven : Ability to use audience insights to inform marketing strategies and measure campaign success.

Project Management skills : strong organisational skills, with an ability to lead projects and campaignswith an excellent eye for detail and deadlines.

Communication : Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Adaptability : the ideal candidate will be resilient, agile and adaptable, and able to work to tight deadlines. Due to the nature of the role, some out of hours and weekend work may be required.

Line Management Experience :





experience in people management would be advantageous but is not essential.
