This Legal 500 and award-winning law firm, steeped in heritage, is currently seeking a newly qualified private client solicitor to join their prestigious private client department in London. This role provides an exciting opportunity to develop expertise and work with a diverse range of high-net-worth individuals, families, and trustees.

The Private Client Department
The Private Client Department offers specialised legal advice to UK and international clients, with a focus on wealth management, estate planning, and probate. The team prides itself on its client-centric approach, working with families, individuals, trustees, and business owners to safeguard their assets and plan for the future.
The Role
This role is an exceptional opportunity for a newly qualified solicitor to join a highly respected team in private client law. You will work under the mentorship of experienced practitioners, providing legal advice on wills, trusts, and tax planning while assisting with estate administration for high-net-worth clients.
You'll have opportunities to collaborate closely with partners and senior team members, gain exposure to complex private client matters, and support the department's ongoing growth and excellent reputation in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advising clients on private client matters, including wills, probate, trusts, and inheritance tax planning.
- Working proactively to provide high-quality, timely legal advice to a diverse client base.
- Supporting senior team members and collaborating with the Head of Department to develop and implement client strategies.
- Staying updated on legal developments and translating these into practical advice.
- Participating in business development, networking, and raising the firm's profile in the private client sector.
Qualifications:
- A qualified solicitor in England & Wales (NQ) with a focus on private client law, ideally with training from a reputable firm.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts in a clear, accessible way.
- A proactive and client-focused approach, with a commitment to delivering practical, client-centred solutions.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage time effectively.
- A willingness to engage in business development and networking.
