Full job description
We are a student accommodation provider that puts your wellbeing first. Our aim is to provide the very best experience for you to make the most of student living. We're in great locations, with 24/7 service, flexible payment, and tenancy options, and 'wow factor' spaces providing comfort and student-friendly facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management of Student Debt, compiling weekly debt report, creating reminder & debt letters to students.
- Monthly reconciliation of rental and deposit receipts from students;
- Sharing deposit information with the relevant deposit scheme and ensuring we comply with legal requirements;
- Completion of bank postings to the relevant accounts receivable ledger;
- Assisting as required with Finance related support tickets to ensure our students and site teams have the information they need in a timely manner;
- Support with ad hoc tasks and projects as required by the Finance Team.
Essential skills and experience:
- Good communicator, confident in building internal and external relationships;
- Highly organised, logical with a practical approach and able to prioritise effectively;
- Acting with integrity, honesty, and discretion;
- Strong Excel skills (minimum intermediate level).

1 month: You will start to understand the culture and values of Student Roost and get to grips with the Accounts Receivable process, buddying with an experienced team member who can show you what great looks like.
3 months:
You will have met and built strong high quality relationships with our people, customers, clients and colleagues, ensuring that invoices and payments are made within the process time frame.
6 months: You will be well underway to being settled. You will have forged great working relationships and be the go to person to sort out Accounts Receivable related queries.
