Premises Manager Opportunity at a Leading Secondary School in Sutton

Position Overview
The Premises Manager will be responsible for the overall management and maintenance of the school's buildings and grounds. This role is essential in ensuring a safe, clean, and efficient learning environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the premises, including maintenance, security, cleaning,
and health & safety.
- Manage and supervise a team of premises staff, including caretakers and cleaners.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Manage budgets and contracts related to premises maintenance and services.
- Oversee the planning and execution of refurbishment and improvement projects.
- Act as a key point of contact for staff, contractors, and external agencies.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience in premises management, ideally within an educational setting.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
- Experience in budget management and contract negotiation.
