Our client is seeking a Bank Reconciliation Analyst to join their team. The goal is to identify errors and detect any unusual or irregular payments in transaction records, ensuring the business has a precise and up-to-date understanding of its bank balances at all times. This approach minimises risk and enhances efficiency by enforcing proper controls and procedures.
This role works 9 am - 5 pm, Monday to Friday, and offers 2 days working from home.
This leading real estate business manages a diverse portfolio of assets, from unique residential properties to iconic retail spaces you will be working across many impressive portfolios and properties.
Duties:
- Perform daily reconciliations of assigned company bank accounts.
- Reconcile inter-account fund movements daily.
- Investigate and document unmatched items, collaborating with Finance colleagues.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of reconciliation activities.
- Maintain and refine rule sets for automated reconciliations within the reconciliation tool.
- Prepare manual reconciliations for bank accounts outside the reconciliation system, investigating any discrepancies.
- Reconcile suspense accounts, coordinating with global payment teams to resolve outstanding items.
- Monitor Treasury and client-segregated bookings, addressing discrepancies with Business Operations and Client Asset Management promptly.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and clarifications.
- Keep process documentation up to date and ensure compliance with defined policies and procedures.
Person specification:
- Great experience in service charge bank reconciliation.
- Advanced Excel user.
- Detail-oriented and energetic.
- Be ambitious and committed to personal and professional growth.

- Have essential experience in real estate.
