We are seeking an Associate Director to join our Living EMEA Capital Markets team based in London.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting pitches, client engagement, financial modelling, and providing sale/acquisition advice across Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) and Multifamily sectors in EMEA.
Key Responsibilities:Transaction Management:
Project manage complex transactions including joint ventures, portfolio and asset sales
Collaborate with the Real Estate Investment Banking (REIB) team to manage intricate processes
Clear communication and management between multiple different stakeholders
Pitch Preparation and Coordination:
Support the preparation and coordination of pitches for potential projects
Develop creative ideas for business opportunities with support from senior management
Financial Modelling and Analysis:
Create and interpret financial models for portfolio sales and joint ventures
Assist in the analysis and modelling of the large portfolio transactions
Provide strategic advice based on financial analysis and market trends
Client Relations and Business Development:
Grow presence with Living investors and expand professional network
Prepare for and participate in client meetings
Building relationships with clients to assist in investor outreach
Discuss complex exit and acquisition options with clients and team members
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Develop connections with local teams to support their investment processes
Manage research team outputs to inform decision-making
Coordinate with marketing teams and support Living team events
Investor Marketing:
Develop and execute investor marketing strategies
Prepare strategic advice documents for clients and internal stakeholders
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
Demonstrated post qualification experience in real estate capital markets, with a focus on PBSA and Multifamily sectors
Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
Excellent project management and organizational abilities
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Proven track record in client relationship management and business development
Prepared to quickly build an in-depth knowledge of EMEA real estate markets, particularly in the Living sector
