Full job description
NHSE Workforce Training and Education Directorate (WT&E;) is looking to recruit to the post of Dental Care Professional Lead working across London and Kent, Surrey and Sussex.
You will work as part of the regional London and KSS teams. You will be required to carry out practice visits across London and KSS, in person and remotely.
The post holder will work closely with the Regional Dean, Associate Deans and Office teams within WT&E.;
3 roles available at: 2 posts x 2 days per week (15 hours) and 1 post x 1 day per week (7.5 hours).
The role is open to all GDC-registered DCPs: Dental Therapists, Dental Nurses, Dental Hygienists and Dental Technicians.
The DCP leads will act as leaders for DCPs within their area and will promote leadership skills amongst DCPs.
Engagement with NHS England, Public health England, Primary
care forums, Local professional networks, Associate deans and undergraduate dental schools where appropriate.

workforce within the NHSE
To ensure commissioned dental training and education, which
allows the service needs of the population to be met and to ensure patient safety at all levels

Colleagues with a contractual office base are expected to spend, on average, at least 40% of their time working in-person.
Staff recruited from outside the NHS will usually be appointed at the bottom of the pay band.
