Excellent opportunity to join this highly successful hotel as a finance assistant.
What will I be responsible for as a Finance Assistant?
The main responsibility of the finance assistant is to effectively manage the day to day operation of the Finance Department and to execute finance and accounting responsibilities for the hotel. Tasks to include;
- Complete daily revenue reporting
- Reconcile banking daily
- Weekly bank reconciliations
- Complete supplier statement checks and other purchase ledger requests
- Respond to all sales ledger queries and requests
- Respond to guest payment/invoicing queries
- Knowledge of hotel rates and special rates and the hotels facilities
- Review and process all supplier invoices ready for payment
- Send all client invoices and manage payments
The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a hotel environment with knowledge of Opera and POS systems. They should have excellent customer service skills, be analytical with excellent attention to detail, be proactive with their work.
