Our client, based in Yorkshire, is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Team Leader on a five month temporary contract. The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is £25.00 per hour on a CIS basis.
The ideal candidate will have come from a trades background, have direct line management experience and have worked for a Social Housing provider before. Duties will include (but are not limited to):Working within the repairs team within a Housing AssociationLeading a small team of three maintenance operatives
Allocating works and completing 1:1 appraisal’s
Attending site visits
Completing work assessments and raising work for and overseeing contractors on site
Managing and resolving complaints occurring from repairs works completed
Carrying out a variety of planned and reactive building maintenance tasks (20-30%)Providing leadership and line management to the team
Co-ordinating and overseeing workloads and providing support to ensure the team delivers
Monitoring any issues and ensuring targets, KPI’s and quality standards are met
Experience required:Experience required in Social HousingMust of held a previous role within a trade based role
Experience of direct line management
Working hours:37 hours per week
