Market Risk Analyst -Python/PowerBI - Derivatives
My client, a leading financial services organisation, are seeking a Market Risk Analyst to help monitor real time risk measurements and daily trading positions. Working closely with the trading team, in a diverse role, you would be responsible for daily risk monitoring, risk reporting and working on process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide risk analysis across the trading portfolio
- Preparing risk reports
- Developing VBA/Python tools to improve internal processes
- Position/Trading limit reviews
Key Skills/Experience:
- Experience of working within a Market Risk focussed role
- Good knowledge of risk methodologies (VAR, Stress Testing etc)
- Technical skills using VBA and/or Python would be advantageous
- Exposure to Futures & Options is highly desirable, but other asset classes would be considered
