Job summary
We are recruiting for a Registered nurse - Acute dialysis / RITA who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
You will be working within the Acute dialysis unit and the Renal Intervention Treatment Area.
The acute dialysis unit provides haemodialysis and plasma exchange for renal inpatients
The Renal Intervention and Treatment Area provides a service to renal outpatient who require interventions such as access intervention, access creation, renal review, chemotherapy, medication administration amongst others.
This post is for Acute Dialysis and the Renal Intervention Treatment Area (RITA)
and the successful candidate will be required to rotate between both areas.

Main duties of the job
Managing dialysis for all inpatients, both chronic and AKI patients to include all aspects of patient assessment, commencement and disconnection of HD.
Managing plasma exchange for inpatients.
Within RITA you will undertake patient assessment, assist with procedures, administer required infusion eg IV iron, cannulation.
Partake in the renal nurse on call rota.
