Join our team as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner at the Department of Urology, University College London Hospitals. We are looking for a dedicated individual who is committed to delivering exceptional patient care and driving service innovation.

In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to directly impact urgent urology services and provide crucial leadership to nursing teams, making a significant difference in patient are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual who has or is working towards a Master / PGDip in Advanced Clinical Practice.

It's important that you are forward-thinking and can demonstrate the 4 pillars of advanced practice.







This vacancy has been advertised in accordance with the new NHS pay rate which will take effect from autumn 2024. Please note if your employment starts before the 24 / 25 pay scales are implemented you will be paid under the 23 / 24 pay scales and any backpay will be adjusted accordingly.

Main duties of the job

As part of this role, you will provide clinical support and leadership for patients on an Urgent Urology Pathway. Your duties will include developing and managing services such as Rapid Access Emergency Clinics, Nurse-Led Treatment Clinics, and Telephone Clinics in collaboration with nursing and medical teams.

If you are a trainee band 7 ACP / ANP, we may consider your application based on your existing skills, experiences, and qualifications.

We are committed to your professional development and will provide comprehensive support through a recognised training program to help you obtain accreditation for flexible cystoscopy and any other appropriate clinical procedure within your core role.

Knowledge and Qualifications

Essential

- Registered Nurse (Adult) Part 1, 12.
- Educated to Masters Level.
- Teaching and assessing course
- Advanced physical assessment module at MSc level
- Non-medical prescribing at BSc or MSc
- Experience at Extended nurse practitioner level
