Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging geography lessons to primary and secondary school students.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages academic growth and personal development.
- Conduct regular assessments to track student progress and provide feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement cross-curricular initiatives and projects.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest educational trends and developments in the field of geography.
- Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development opportunities.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant information.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in geography or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Proven experience teaching geography at the primary or secondary level.
- Strong knowledge of the geography curriculum and the ability to plan and deliver effective lessons.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.
