Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging and interactive lessons on various historical topics
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation
- Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance
- Plan and coordinate field trips and other experiential learning activities
- Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to develop and implement an integrated curriculum
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on student progress
- Stay updated on advancements in the field of history education and incorporate innovative teaching techniques
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience teaching History at the primary or secondary level
- In-depth knowledge of historical events, concepts, and theories
- Strong pedagogical skills with the ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to establish a positive and inclusive learning environment
- High level of organization, attention to detail, and time management skills
