Our client, a highly regarded secondary school located in Sutton, is seeking a dynamic and accomplished Drama Teacher to join their thriving Performing Arts department.
This full-time, permanent position commences in September and offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled educator to inspire and nurture the next generation of theatrical talent.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging and innovative Drama lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
- Develop and implement creative lesson plans that align with the national curriculum and school-specific objectives.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and set ambitious targets.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the department and across the wider school community.
- Remain up-to-date with the latest pedagogical approaches and curriculum developments in Drama education.
Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor's degree in Drama or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Drama at the secondary level, ideally across multiple key stages.
