Main duties of the job
What you will be responsible for :
- Undertake nursing assessment and evaluation to enable development of appropriate plans of care based on the needs of the individual.
- Be proficient in the delivery of care to patients.
- Ensure safe administration of drugs in accordance with NMC and CHS policies.
- Ensure accurate records are kept in accordance with CHS policy and NMC guidelines.
- Carry out nursing procedures and techniques in accordance with agreed policies and standards.
- Undertake regular mandatory training.

Job responsibilities
Job Title : Registered Theatre Nurse
Trust : University Hospital Plymouth NHS Foundation Trust
Location : Main hospitals Plymouth.
Pay Rates : £ to £
Shift Patterns : Start times can range from as early as 7 : 30am to as late as 7 : 30pm,
with finish times from 7 : 30am to 10pm.
Earlies, mids and nights. Shifts can be 5 to 12 hours long.

- Following Codes of Professional Practice provide high quality care to patients undergoing treatment within the Peri-Operative Environment.
The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.
What you'll need :
- Have a minimum of 6 months experience as a Registered Nurse in Theatres
- Registered with NMC
- Depending on the Trust, you may require variable additional certification and skills .
