About the Role
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Psychology Teacher to join our thriving department at a reputable secondary school in East London.
As a member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our students by imparting your knowledge and passion for psychology at KS4 and KS5 levels.
Responsibilities
- Delivering engaging and stimulating psychology lessons to KS4 and KS5 students
- Developing and implementing effective teaching strategies aligned with the school's curriculum and assessment plans
- Assessing student progress and providing personalized feedback to enhance their learning outcomes
- Collaborating with colleagues to create a supportive and stimulating learning environment
- Contributing to the department's ongoing professional development initiatives
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Psychology
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Proven experience teaching psychology at KS4 and KS5 levels
- Strong understanding of the latest psychological theories and methodologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Enthusiasm for inspiring and motivating students
